It really happened...
I would like to present an illustration that I created to capture a very personal and emotional moment in my life. The illustration is a representation of the moment I heard that my son had died. I was on my way to the hospital, expecting to become a father, but my son passed away before he could be delivered. The illustration captures the intense emotions and feelings of fear and helplessness that I felt in that moment. It depicts me stuck in a traffic jam, unable to move, with the fear symbolised by a demon that shape-shifts around me, representing how it was capturing me in that moment.

This illustration is not only a representation of that moment but a way to express my feelings and it's a way to remember my son, as it encapsulates the emotional journey I went through and the pain I felt. I hope that it can be seen as a reminder that grief is a complex and ongoing process, and that it can serve as a source of comfort for those who have also experienced loss."
In the future I'm planning to repaint this digital drawing into a physical piece.
