7th International Poster Contest
Based on the artwork from Siegfried Odermatt in 1960, the poster displays the conflict between Planet Earth and People, a conflict which leads to the Climate Crisis. The intention of this artwork is to activate and awaken people, in order to fight Climate Change.
The composition is represented in black and white, in order to display all the catastrophic consequences on Earth, which is deconstructed and broken-down. Furthermore, the selection of red color in the word "People", (the crisis red color - #BB2222), is not only random, but also eye-catching for the viewers. This color informs them that the foremost and the more determined factor for this crisis, is the human factor.
