In the run up to the exhibition, Grounded, I will be posting pages from my diaries written whilst on residency for Grounded. I invite you to follow the upcoming blog www.judithparrott.wordpress.com - using the link on the home page if you are interested in receiving email notifications of diary posts.

Grounded launches July 2014 at the XX Commonwealth Games cultural events, Glasgow Merchant City Festival.

The residencies took place in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland and in the desert areas of Central Australia and Western Queensland. During the residencies I looked at how our sense of connection to place and each other is important for both personal and environmental wellbeing. I was very fortunate in having the opportunity to work alongside Wangkangurru, Arrarnta, Arrernte and Bidjara Elders, and others from these countries in Australia; and in Scotland, with Gaelic speakers from the Outer Hebrides.

I would be delighted if you could join me by following this blog, detailing my personal experiences at www.judithparrott.wordpress.com
