Coming Home is a project I worked on in my first semester at MICA. It's a set of icons that serve as a guide to a fulfilling and healthy relationship with your friends, partners and family. I explored my most complicated and powerful relationships through this set and made a journal and poster series to put the icons in action.

My final icons combined to create a slice of a comforting day at home.

Here are some sketches and process work for my icons. In sketching, I realized my subconscious association between mundane daily household objects and the comfort of a healthy relationship, and thus ended up with my final concept.
