Karina Marquez, better known in some realities as Ultra K, has workshopped an AR / AI performance at NOMAD that expands the possibilities for this medium unlike anything we’ve seen. Wearing virtual masks and enveloping herself and her audience into an augmented environment, she takes us on a musical journey through the vast cultural influences that inhabit her. She performs all of these feats solo, having created every asset herself wth a little AI assistance. It is a spectacular display of virtuosity that blew us all away. Bravo Karina!
