BeepMeep
A system of rings, which allows couples to harmonize auditory and emotionally in togetherness. BeepMeep reacts to the movement and distance of the partners from each other. Depending on how you move, how fast and in which direction, the resulting sound changes. In interaction, both partners can now create sounds that unite to form melodies.

Both emotional, physical but also situational changes can lead to uncertainty but also anticipation during pregnancy. The "carrying" person experiences most of the changes in everyday life. Coping with the new situation but also the everyday stress can quickly become overwhelming and lead to further stress. This stress is triggered by various factors. The new situation, consequences or fears that come with it, as well as everyday tasks and the emotional change, especially in the person carrying the baby, all contribute to high levels of stress.
Stress during pregnancy has physical and psychological effects that can also trigger long-term consequences in the child.
The touch of the partner is assessed by so-called Galvanic Skin Response sensors and converted into sounds. The Galvanic Skin Response method measures the conductivity of the skin based on moisture. In this way, the sensations of the partners are to be detected by changes in the resistance of the skin and converted into sounds.
through motion sensors and Bluetooth Low Energy, further data is obtained to convert proximity and movement into sounds.
By putting on the two rings per partner, both actively commit to the use of the system.
Now the fun can begin.
BeepMeep reacts to the movement and distance of the partners from each other. Depending on how one moves, how fast and in which direction, the resulting sound changes. In interaction, both partners can now produce tones that unite to form melodies. Further tones are added as soon as the couple starts to touch each other. Touching opens up another level of tones and also another level of perception for the couple. The intense experience of physical interaction can now also be perceived auditorily with BeepMeep.
