Simli Kağıt / Glittering Paper
Simli Kağıt is an educational project in which we worked as animation artists and character designers. We made all the animations, illustration and all the visual stuff.
This animation is made for "We are Living Together (WeLive)".
Project is financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey.
This animation is aiming to reflect the mind and the desire of the little children.
What a child desires the most is spending time with their family, so the other things such as toys and dresses doesn't really matters to them.
The time you spend with your family is really important especially when you are a kid.
We made the design of the room and the toys and the other elements in the room away from sexist approach like "girl rooms are pink ect."
We choosed to use Cel Animation method because we think it gives warm feeling to animation.
