Created for the 'Small Worlds' competition by GO MEDIA and Advanced Photoshop Magazine, readers were asked to create their own 'Small World' and were encouraged to link it with a theme. I was fortunate enough to have my entry chosen as one of the winners to be published in issue 64 of Advanced Photoshop Magazine.

My initial concept behind this design was to Visualize what the effects of todays ever increasing pollution and global warming would have on our planet in years to come. The designs' foreground depicts a lone primitive looking man surrounded by a heat scorched, barren landscape void of any other life. Whereas the designs' background Shows the stark reality of what once was. An untouched Earth with luscious greens and blues, the doves were added to symbolize peace.
