That is the restaurant where guests of the five-star HAY Boutique Hotel and SPA in Bukovel have breakfast and lunch. The place reflects the HAY core concept: connecting with nature, understanding local cultural traditions, and paying particular attention to herbs.
The interior combines natural shades of burnt hay with light oak wood and juicy accents of orange furniture. On the walls, there are unique panels made of pressed herbs and flowers. Being in this space, you involuntarily immerse yourself in the nature of the Carpathians through textures, colors, local flavors, and tastes.
88 Daily is a modern, cozy, cosmopolitan restaurant that combines the best features of all your favorite places at once. At first glance, such an interior would be appropriate in any corner of the world. However, the details shape the character of the restaurant. They create the internal firmware that connects the institution with the place for which it was created. Wallpaper with herbs and flowers that you can browse like a botanical encyclopedia. Wall decor in the form of tufts of wool, reminiscent of vast pastures, shaggy shepherds' coats, and hard-working weavers from local craft workshops. Another local code is a print on furniture upholstery. Looking closely, you can see a "star" from Ukrainian embroidery patterns. This elegant geometric symbol is called "Alatyr" and is considered a protective talisman.
Details that convey the local character of the interior only attract a little attention. They exist in space, shaping a unique balance of tradition and modernity. The entire design of the HAY hotel and its components is built around true values that one does not put on display. The main visual accent for which tourists come there existed millennia ago and will continue to exist in the future. That is a mountain landscape that opens from the panoramic windows of the hotel. The place's interior, with its shades, textures, and aromas, reflects and rethinks this landscape.
"We aimed to capture the vibe of unity with nature, relaxation, and the pleasure of returning to oneself. Then, to translate it into the language of design," – says Volodymyr Nepiyvoda, YOD Group founder.
