V Magazine 136
3D Type Sculpture.
V Magazine, a high-end fashion and lifestyle publication known for its cutting-edge visual aesthetic, commissioned us for a typography project for issue 136, featuring supermodel Gisele.
The final result was a bold, expressive display typeface that effectively conveyed the magazine's editorial vision and captured it’s fashionable, edgy vibe across all spreads, from cover headlines to side stories. It helped to give the publication a cohesive and distinctive visual identity.

Our first step was to review V Magazine's branding guidelines to ensure that our designs would be consistent with the magazine's established visual identity and align with the desired tone and style for the typeface.

Process & Development.
We developed a custom condensed typeface for the magazine based on guidelines and discussions with the editorial team. In order to create a typeface that is both stylish and functional, we closely followed Druk Condensed Super, the magazine's official typeface, and made adjustments as needed to ensure legibility and aesthetic appeal at any size. We also provided alternate letters, such as I and L, for typesetting options.
