Sanō is a tradicional sushi restaurant and delivery. The main goal is to bring the japanese culture into the food and ambient, creating a different experience than just ''eat sushi''.

In the process of the project, I was able to immerse myself in the oriental culture, mainly in Japanese, from music (Edo period) to woodcut paintings (ukiyo-e), manga and, above all, nature, which is so present in the country.

From the beginning, I wanted to escape the cliché of representing a sushi restaurant/delivery with one more sushi drawing or some variation of it. My solution was to develop several illustrations, portraying the mood of Japanese culture, mixed with more dynamic colors than those used in traditional Japanese paintings.

The idea was to portray the restaurant in a unique way, something handmade (like sushi is made) with personality that would become distinctive and interesting.

Sanō é um restaurante de sushi tradicional e delivery. O principal objetivo, foi trazer a cultura japonesa para a comida e ambiente, criando uma experiência diferente do que apenas ''comer sushi''.

Na criação do projeto, pude mergulhar na cultura oriental, principalmente na japonesa, desde a música do período Edo, até a pintura em xilogravura (ukiyo-e), mangá e, principalmente, a natureza, tão presente no país.

Desde o início, quis fugir do clichê de representar um restaurante de sushi com mais um desenho de sushi ou alguma variação dele. Minha solução foi desenvolver diversas ilustrações, retratando o clima da cultura japonesa, mescladas com cores mais dinâmicas do que as utilizadas nas pinturas tradicionais japonesas.

A ideia era retratar o restaurante de uma forma única, algo artesanal (como se faz o sushi) com personalidade e que se tornasse distinto e interessante.
