Primer vaig seleccionar els trets de la seva personalitat que vaig creure més rellevants. Com és? Què li agrada?
With an angry aesthetic and as a reference to student folders that we pasted everything we liked and believed that it defined us. At the same time, I also started from the photo collages cut into scissors and glued together, fairly common gifts within the family.
Amb una estètica desenfadada i com a referència les carpetes d'estudiants on hi enganxàvem tot allò que ens agradava i creiem que ens definia. Alhora també vaig partir dels collages de fotos retallats a tisores i enganxats amb cola, regals bastant comuns dins la família.
I created the different illustrations for each of the labels. I also made one general that encompassed several of them: Sa Tuna with the beach and the sea in the background, the mushroom basket and the parakeet, the mascot of the futbol team.
The idea was to create the "David's brand", and apply it to different objects, in the same way as he does to his work.
Vaig crear les diferents il·lustracions per a cada una de les etiquetes. També vaig fer-ne una de general que englobava vàries: Sa Tuna amb la cala i el mar de fons, el cistell de bolets i el periquito de l'Espanyol.
La idea era crear la "marca David", i aplicar-la a diferents objectes, de la mateixa manera que fa ell a la seva feina.
Stickers were made in different sizes, which were pasted to different places as decoration during the party.
The gift consisted of a box in which his merchandising was inside: a t-shirt, a cup, different sheets, a pen, a metallic bottle, several stickers and a bi-folded postcard where we were written a dedication to the inner part.
