    I was originally approached to design a logo for an upstart commercial power supply company. After it's completion, along with the design of the informational brochure, the president asked that I also design the very "look" of the product itself. Although I have no formal background in industrial design, I gladly took on the project. Designing not only the graphic face of the product, I was in charge of dimensional design -- knobs, handles, led lights, placement, etc. Once the look of the product was firmly in place, they asked that I also design the graphic user interface. Again, with no formal training or expertise in this area, I took it on. Working with their engineers, I was able to design something that really had that "wow" factor. Although I'm not a website designer, I was then asked to mock up a website that could be taken live, and updated by their IT department. Perhaps now I can add "industrial design" to my list of skill. I was told recently by the president that the product is a huge success worldwide. (Whew!) Read Less
