[ A student project for The New York School of Interior Design ]
The requisite for this project was to design an (ADA compliant) women’s public restroom for a Bulgarian company Enio Bonchev, one of Bulgaria’s most reputed manufacturers of premium rose and lavender oils. The restroom was adjacent to the main reception area, used by visitors to its corporate headquar- ters. The company viewed the space as an opportunity to express and reinforce the corporate “brand.”
Since their mission has always been to uphold the standard of catering to reputed clientele and exercising the highest quality control in their products, it was essential that the design supported their vision. The idea was to design a restroom that spoke the same language of luxury, quality and delicacy that is an inherent part of their product line. It was also essential that the space felt soft and feminine while exuding a certain aura of elegance and opulence.

The inspiration behind the design was the essence of the product itself -
