When I was fresh out of graduate school in Turin, I landed an internship at the legendary Bertone car design company. Their clients were mostly Chinese automotive manufacturers who wanted some Italian design magic. It was a bit of an irony that an American 23 year old should then lead the design of a sedan for the manufacturer Changan. The car is based around a Camry-like package. I wanted to design something a little bit more fluid, maybe muscular than a Camry. 

I spent months sketching, and directing an Alias modeler who translated the concept into a 3D design. The model pictured here is a 1:1 MDF block with rolling wheels!
