Smart Door Lock

Making a working SMART DOOR LOCK
This lock has been made for college students staying in PG rooms.
It enables multiple passcodes/RFID tags for different users and OTPs for temporary visitors.
It also has safety features like a Fire sensor which detects if the inside temperature goes above 65 degrees C and opens all locks for emergency. It notifies the user if an incorrect passcode is entered or an unregistered RFID tag is scanned.

While working on this lock, I spent a lot of time on designing the form and shape of the lock. The images for which are attached below.

Soft skills

1. Made the smallest possible form with the given hardware. (The hardware parts I could use were limited to the ones programmable by micro circuit boards like an Arduino board.)

2. Made the whole design + prototype + working model in 5 weeks of time.

3. Solved all problems faced using an iterative process.

4. Used no wires within the keypad, made paths of solder to connect the button matrix.
Thankyou :)
