Inspired by the middle eastern carpet, ALADINO is a
seating piece of furniture that has been designed for
outdoor public playgrounds.
The product comes in two different sizes: a square of
160x160cm to fit up to three people as well as a more
elongated one of 160x80cm for singular use. It is
intended to be used by anyone regardless of their age.
As for the materials that were chosen for this product,
we opted for a coated aluminum structure that will
serve as support to the woven ropes for the seating
space.
Three combination of colours will be available for the
piece: a light blue with dark grey, a dark grey with light
gray and finally a dark gray with beige.
The purpose of this project is to provide the people
in a playground context with a comfortable piece of
furniture to both sit and lay down while having this
floating playful aesthetic.
