intention // ethos statement

let’s hear it for the partners-in-crime.

let’s hear it for the overlooked, the underpaid,
the broken, the wrong; our partners-in-crime
are everyone and everything, everywhere.
embrace this, and you will never deny yourself the
understanding that all things— whether you are aware of them or not— design, are designed, will design.
the dandelion growing through a crack in the pavement defies expectation; designs its way out.
(louder, dandelion, so they can hear you in the back)
we are moving, participating, sharing, loving, notloving: interconnected and interstitial, like the ones who live between grains of sand.
there’s more that binds us all together, than sets us apart, more questions that have no answer, than black-and-white arguments.
so, fail often, and robustly.
(failure only means you’re learning to ask new questions)
designers, we can listen loudly,
and speak in bold new languages.

let’s hear it for the partners-in-crime.
