About The Installation
This Installation was created for Celebrate Cinema 2022, an event in Whistling Woods International by the students of Visual Communication Design. 
We have presented the origin of moving images and animation “The Phenakistoscope”, though hard to pronounce the experience achieved by using this device makes up for the tough times trying to say the name. This would probably be the first time when phenakistoscope (a hand-holding toy) is being made on such a large scale. 
With the grand celebrations of the 75th year of Indian independence (the theme for the event), through simple animation, we show you the beautiful diversity our nation possesses and what magnificent power it holds to combine them as a unified front of various cultures and stories. 
In this installation, the dance and the music of the Northeast (Assam) and West (Maharashtra) are put together bringing to you the brightest colors of the Bihu and Lezim.
