(re)Collection / collages I
Filed under the border theme of working with collections/archives, this project started in Katowice, in 2013, as a student of ASP Katowice.
Focusing on my personal ever growing collection of images from the world wide web, expanded to the point it becomes futile - hundreds of folders of saved images, "hearts" and likes, scattered around various platforms and hard drives - I revisit them periodically to see what new connections arise. What started as a hunger for image becomes a pretext to engage in a stream-of-consciousness type exercise thought the medium of collage.

Re-posting this in 2022, the year image generating-AI became accessible to the larger audience, raises some interesting questions about working with other creator's images.
