Neon Falling is a series of three dimensional neon sketches depicting the human form in various stages of free-fall.
Generated primarily as a means of learning how to use Virtual Reality software to generate three dimensional assets these floating neon figures explore the human form and how it can be represented using complex tapestry of organic 3D linear structures. Suspended from the ceiling, these illuminated anatomical sketches then formed part of a virtual exhibit. Neon Falling.
Sketches such as those shown above were created in preparation for recreating each figure in three dimensions using virtual reality software. Each sketch represents free-fall using a different pose, whilst vertical lines of neon light help depict motion and velocity.
