School project for the cover design of the 2 exhibitions of the Japanesse design studio Nendo.
The aim was to create a surprising object, similar to the philosophy of the studio. Kept minimal, the covers were designed to represent the style of each exhibition.
Using traditionnal japaneese patterns according to the objects presented and a varnish to make theses appaer only from a sprecific angle and lightning.
Also, an other test with an almost translucid paper that makes visible the geometrical forms printed behind it when manipulating the book.
