I recently had the honor of working on Computerworld's "Salary Survey" issue which was just released this week. The project included the cover, a full page illustration for the feature, and two quarter page spots for a couple of supporting articles, all of which dealt with the current job market for tech workers.
Lucky for me the amazing April Montgomery was at the helm as art director, and she allowed me the freedom to run with some really fun ideas. In the end I somehow got away with not having to illustrate a single computer in any of the images and instead used bees birds rabbits and squirrels to effectively get the point across. April also did a beautiful job with the text treatment and was kind enough to send me the layouts so I made sure to include them along with the corresponding illustrations. Keep on scroll'n to check 'em out!
