Our task was creating a product catalogue based on one of the five options offered to us. My pick was "ceramic plates" & the first thing that sprang to my mind was jewellery made out of ceramics. After a little research I stumbled upon a Dutch artist by the name of Gesine Hackenberg, who creates jewellery by drilling into ceramic plates. This angle allowed me to stay within the bounds of the brief given to us and have my own take on "ceramic plates" as a subject matter.
