A year and a half after creating the first two spots of a new campaign for Blinds To Go, the home furnishings retailer, Bennett Windheim Creative returned to the theme "Blinds For Life," but this time with a twist: humor. 
 
While the original spots were specifically conceived to heighten brand awareness and separate the client from a category whose advertising mostly consisted of Sunday newspaper inserts, the challenge for the new spots was to, in the words of the client, "make them more promotional." Our approach: promote through a sense of urgency inherent in the narrative.
 
These two spots are humorous evocations of real-life instances when "You need blinds. Now."
