Personal work inspired by ”The Emerald” by Swedish proletarian writer Josef Kjellgren. First published in 1938, this fictional work was based on a maritime catastrophy 11 years prior. Being too heavily loaded, steam cargo ship Tryggve capsized, leaving just the one crew member surviving.
