Soothsayer is another character I made for Dungeons & Dragons. They are a kenku, an anthropomorphic bird race resembling crows and ravens but have no wings, and they are a cleric who serves Savras, the god of fortune. They are named Soothsayer because kenkus are often given names by other people to represent their profession or specialty.

So, as I'm sure you can guess, they are a stockbroker.

Okay, sorry for the lame joke. One day, before this kenku was given their name, they experienced something so horrifying and tragic that they became a soothsayer in the hopes of helping others have good fortune and avoid terrible events. However, they can be quite on edge. They worry about their own fate, and they worry a lot more about the fates of others, being very selfless. They often feel a responsibility for the fate of their clients.

Also, the lantern lighting on Soothsayer's facial feathers was really hard to get right.
