Poster Project: Taliesin West
For this peoject we were tasked to created a poster to promote a interesting location in Arizona. I went to Taliesin West which is in Scottsdale, AZ and took pictures and drew sketches throughout my visit. I used that information that I gathered to put together some roughs for the poster that I would create for my final.
MindMap
After looking at all of the information that I collected I created a mindmap. This displayed all the details that I noticed throughout my visit at Taliesin West.
Sketches
I used the information that I collected to create several sketches that encapture the beauty of Taliesin West. I used different aspects from the photos and sketches to make different poster ideas.
Roughs
I picked my three favorite sketches to make into inked roughs. These three drawings were made on a bigger grid and are more detailed.
Final Poster
This is my final poster promoting Taliesin West. I took insiration from all of the geometric artwork that Frank Lloyd Wright (the creator of Taliesin West) created when making my poster.
