My sculptural work has been always influenced by my own perspective of nature, specially by an issue that I have been interested since my childhood “the relationship beteween humans and animals” which is always reflected in the policies and culture that currently governing my country.
Animal abuse problem, specially the stray animals issue has led me to work for some animal-care foundations where I have lived closely the cruelty they have been suffered and the little support recieved towards this problematic.
“Dialectic between Man and Dog”, It is the name that I gave to this piece, there is shown the fear from street animals to humans, likewise the respect that I feel as human being not only for this species but also for all the species in general. It represents also a ritual offered to all animal I saw die with the powerless to do anything for them.
