Flexagon - One Thousand and One Nights

The goal of this project was to illustrate the flexagon in a way that no matter how you fold it, the images always complete each other.

On the sides you can see the Cave of Wonders with all it's treasure, and you can take a look inside the Sultan's palace. 

Scenes can be seen from the tales "Ali Baba and the Forthy Thieves", "The Adventures of Sinbad", "Tale of the Fishermann and the Jinni", "the Ebony Horse", and so on.

On the top and the bottom, the four fish can be seen swimming around from the tale of The Fishermann and the Jinni.

On the inside are the mithical Rukh birds and the huge snakes with diamonds from the Adventures of Sinbad.

I drew the lineart on paper with a pen, then I scanned it, and colored it digitally.
