For this project, I wanted to create something intense. I wanted this image to tell a story that left room for the observer to imaging. Is the night surrendering to the dragon? Is he preparing for battle? Is he entering a battle he knows he will not win or is it a classic David and Goliath story? The image is left open ended for the observer to decide. I used shading and shadows to tell the story and create depth in the image. I used colors that created an intense, dark feel to catch the attention of the observer and pull them into the story.
