Meissen Porcelein

Frühlingsgefühle

The concept for this collection is based on Meissen porcelain. Meissen was the first company to produce porcelain in Europe, having opened in 1710. Creating porcelain is a complex, yet beautiful, art form, which I intend to pay homage to.

This is a high fashion, women's, spring collection. The aesthetic, like Meissen porcelain, is elegant, sophisticated, and bright. This evening wear collection will use lustrous patterns, embroidery, embellishments.

The word ‘frühlingsgefühle’ is directly translated to be ‘spring fever’ and is used to describe the feeling of excitement for nice weather during the spring. I feel like this perfectly describes the feeling this collection gives off, with the use of floral and vibrant colors.
