The second creation of whiskey from Hooten Young arrived to commemorate the 28th anniversary of Operation Gothic Serpent on October 3rd, 1993, when U.S. Forces met orders to capture Somali warlord Mohammed Farah Aidid. Hooten Young president and retired Delta Force MSgt. Norm Hooten helped lead this harrowing 18-hour mission for survival — an incredible story later adapted into the blockbuster Black Hawk Down.

The Hooten Young Whiskey brand has become somewhat synonymous for its dimpled glass bottle that minimal shares a likeness to that of a grenades design. Further complimenting the brands measures to provide a cohesive line of products of quality and value.

For this label I wanted it to compliment the curvature of the bottle itself, creating a more visually pleasing shape that harnesses the bottles face for visibility. The interior filigree was hand drawn, expanding the
