The Big Dollar Rescue for Save the Children

The Big Dollar Rescue for Save the Children is a campaign to show how with the rescuing power of our Singapore dollar, we don't have to give a lot, to give a lot to suffering children in times of emergency.

Launched in January 2014, the campaign lasted for 3 months.

The Miracle Machines
One of the campaign tactics, titled the Miracle Machines, involved the use of japanese capsule machines (or perhaps to Singaporean kids known as the 'tikam' machines from our childhood). As each capsule machine emptied, money would have been raised to help various families in the Philippines and Syria (depending on the cause labelled on each capsule machine). The machines were put at various tertiary instituitions and cafes in Singapore.
