Introducing Betty Clippit, a no-nonsense bus conductress on her daily round. A jobsworth to some, a hero to many, Betty had a fierce attitude that earned her the respect of her passengers. What started as a simple character design idea, I wanted Betty to embody the spirit of the hardworking "clippies" who ran British buses in the mid-20th century.
