The brief: Can you sell a red brick online?
This contest by OgilvyOne Worldwide began with an open online video submission on YouTube where contestants were asked to upload a two minute pitch on how they would sell a red brick. With over 230 entries from 12 countries, potential finalists were then asked to submit a 500 word paper on the following subject -
"Sales is crucial to our clients but how we sell has changed. What does selling look like in the 21st century?"
After making it past this stage, I was invited to a conference call with Mish Fletcher (Senior Partner, Worldwide Marketing Director) and Mat Zucker (Executive Creative Director, New York).
I was selected as one of 10 Honor Roll members and excerpts from my paper were featured in a Slideshare presentation by OgilvyOne Worldwide.
