Casa 292 - was developed as an in-studio exercise tackling a residential project brief with a limited set of requirements. Even though still technically a concept, the project considers and addresses the constraints of a completely viable project were interventions were limited to space distribution and interior design.
A family of 3 was used as a client, focusing shared areas such as diner, living rooms and halls towards social interaction and entertainment. There was particular attention placed in natural lighting and textures to create a modern yet warm feel.
As a studio we use this type of exercises to explore new project categories that haven’t been addressed by our team before as is the case with residential projects. Such ventures also allow us to sharpen and refine processes, skills and tools.
