iComm Student Media is an ad agency that publishes "Scroll", a campus newspaper. Their online news website needed a resdesign to adapt to the student body's use of mobile devices. The task was to redesign the website to be responsive and to present the content in an engaging way to increase readership.
The Home Page
The Home page is designed to highlight the content first. Most elements are typographical to focus on the content instead and therefore get the user to engage. The page is optimized to be responsive to different devices that the student body may be using to get their campus news (i.e iPad, iPhone, Android device, etc.).
The Author Page
When a user click on the author's name or photo throughout the site, they will be redirected to the Author page which lists all articles or stories that the author has written or has association with.
