This book approaches the topic of Time in two different ways. Over the course of 12 double pages, the Past book deals with an event in history that occured on the 24th of each month. The layout and the usage of typography and paper stock represent the historical aspect of our past.

Future - Left to right
Similarly the Future book also takes place over 24 individual pages, except this time it takes a more experimental and unpredictable approach. The Future book is read by rotating the book itself 12 times, just like a clock. The typography here is more fluid and sophisticated and the layout is less restricted by modern conventions.

Connected
On the outside the covers are designed similarly along with the quote: 'Times moves in one direction, memory in another', to be read when the books are combined together. This shows the connection between both Past and Future.
