Zlokalizowany w Hali Stulecia we Wrocławiu lokal urzeka wyważoną aranżacją oraz zachwycającym widokiem na Pergolę i fontannę.
Za projekt wnętrza odpowiada wrocławska pracownia projektowa CUDO.
Podstawowym założeniem projektu jest zatarcie granicy między wnętrzem restauracji, a Pergolą. Przywrócona została transparentność całego założenia poprzez odsłonięcie obu witryn - wewnętrznej i zewnętrznej. Architekci postanowili wykorzystać system otwierania elewacji i wpuścić do wnętrza nie tylko powietrze, lecz również zieleń i całe wrażenie przebywania w kompleksie Hali Stulecia.
Najważniejszą stroną lokalu jest jednak sam widok na Pergolę i fontannę. Przy witrynie postawiono na eleganckie i mięsiste kurtyny
w dość niecodziennym ustawieniu - dzięki ułożeniu ich prostopadle do przeszkleń pozwala na niezakłócony odbiór założenia Maxa Berga
i zezwala na jego płynne wejście do środka konceptu. Materiał, oprócz walorów akustycznych oraz estetycznych, pełni również funkcję przegród między stolikami - daje poczucie intymności i pozwala na swobodne aranżowanie większych bądź mniejszych rezerwacji wzdłuż witryn.
Ważnym elementem towarzyszącym nam od początku pracy koncepcyjnej było przedłużenie i podkreślenie układu tarasowego całości terenu - włącznie z restauracją. Projekt wprowadza dodatkowy taras w środku restauracji. Takie rozwiązanie pozwala na wyraźniejszą interpretację kaskadowego układu całości założenia.
W poszukiwaniu materiałów do projektu architekci skupili się jedynie na najbliższym otoczeniu Hali Stulecia. Miętowo-szary odcień zasłon dobraliśmy do kolorystyki charakterystycznych kolumn, złoty kolor akcentów to inspiracja z przeszklenia kopuły Hali, zaś płyty z jasnego lastryko, z zielonymi drobinkami, pozwoliły nam na przemycenie do wnętrza jeszcze większej ilości zieleni i nawiązują do wszechobecnej natury widocznej na Pergoli. Drewno w głębokim i dojrzałym odcieniu dodaje restauracji przytulności i szlachetności.
Materiały są nawiązaniem do tego co zastane, ale forma i funkcja są bardzo współczesne. To restauracja naszych czasów,
nie tylko pod kątem wystroju lecz również sposobu funkcjonowania. Jest niesamowicie kompatybilna i daje wiele możliwości ustawienia
i łączenia poszczególnych stref. Dlatego znajdziemy tu miejsce na każdą okazję, od eleganckiej kolacji we dwoje, po dużą rezerwację
na celebrowanie ważnych chwil w gronie najbliższych.
Tworzenie koncepcji Restauracji Tarasowej było wyjątkowe pod wieloma względami. Nie tylko dlatego, że jest to obiekt wpisany na listę światowego dziedzictwa UNESCO, czy też dlatego, że jest to lokal, który dosłownie nie ma ani jednej ściany i jest w całości przeszklony-
ale głównie dlatego, że jego nowi projektanci osadzili współczesny projekt w kontekście historycznym tego miejsca. To było największym wyzwaniem. Jest to prawdziwe miejsce spotkań, między innym dlatego dominantą całego założenia jest długi, elegancki bar,
na długie wieczorne rozmowy.
ENGLISH VERSION
Located in the Centennial Hall in Wrocław (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the restaurant enchants with a balanced design and a stunning view of the Max Berg Pergola Complex and the fountain. CUDO, the Wrocław (PL) based design studio is responsible for the interior design.
The basic assumption of the project is to blur the boundary between the interior of the restaurant and the Pergola. The transparency of the entire establishment was restored by revealing both sites - internal and external. The architects decided to use the façade opening system and let in not only air, but also greenery and the whole experience of visiting in the Centennial Hall complex.
The most important aspect of the restaurant is the view of the Pergola and the fountain. Elegant and fleshy curtains in a rather unusual arrangement of them perpendicular to the glazing allow for an undisturbed perception of Max Berg's complex and allow for a smooth transition to the center of the interior. The material, in addition to its acoustic and aesthetic values, also acts as partitions between the tables - it gives a sense of intimacy and allows you to freely arrange larger or smaller reservations along the sites.
An important element accompanying us from the beginning of the project was to extend and emphasize the terrace layout of the entire Pergola complex - including the restaurant. The project introduces an additional terrace in the middle of the restaurant. This solution allows for a clearer interpretation of the cascade layout of the entire layout.
When searching for materials for the design, the architects focused only on the local surroundings of the Centennial Hall. They chose the mint-gray shade of the curtains to match the colors of the characteristic construction columns, the golden color of the accents is an inspiration from the glazing of the Hall's dome, while the light terrazzo slabs with green flecks allowed to smuggle even more greenery into the interior and refer to the natural vibe on the Pergola. Wood in a deep and mature shade adds coziness and nobility to the restaurant.
The materials refer to what is already there, but the form and function are very modern. It is a restaurant of our time, not only in terms of decor, but also the way it functions. It is incredibly compatible and gives so many options for setting and combining individual zones. That is why you can find here a place for every occasion, from an elegant dinner for two, to a large reservation to celebrate important moments with your loved ones.
Creating the concept of the Terrace Restaurant was exceptional in many aspects. Not only because it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or because it is a place that literally does not have a single solid wall - but mainly because its new designers have placed contemporary design in the context of the historic site of this place - and that was the biggest challenge. It is a real meeting place, therefore the dominant feature of the whole project is a long, elegant bar, for long evening talks.
