U of T - 100th Anniversary

This project was initiated by our client at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Social work to celebrate their 100th Anniversary. We created the line "We are working today to create a brighter tomorrow" to establish a sense of optimism for the future. The execution of this concept literally evolves the communications from a dark tone-on-tone palette to a full colour celebration of the role of the individual in the history of social work. Portraits were commissioned as a prime story-telling tool in order to give a face to the subject matter, rather than just feel like academic subject matter.

The projects included a brochure, a microsite, and exhibition graphics at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto.
ALTERNATE CONCEPT
This alternate concept was created for the same brief. It explored the notion that social work is neither black nor white, instead comprised of a spectrum of possibilities and solutions, which were visually connected to colour.
