Inspired by the legacy of the "stabelle" chair, Stabella it's a reinterpretation trying to bring back to life the icon and heritage with new materials techniques as the CNC milled aluminum core covered with soft felt handmade knitted around the frame, all this made in Switzerland.
The traditional "stabelle" chair as it is called in Switzerland, was usually present in swiss chalets and country side. It was originally designed in the 16th century for women to facilitate straight sitting and accommodate the dress volume. Today in some swiss families, it is still custom for every newborn child to receive a small baby "stabelle” chair, usually engraved with personalized icons and symbols.
