Your Career Should Make You Smile!
This PSA campaign is for a non-profit job placement service and/or education that helps individuals with disabilities, former foster youth, military veterans, human trafficking survivors, and unhoused individuals.
I chose to do this PSA because many times these groups of people can feel hopeless, sad and underutilized in our communities. They have the right to smile and be happy in their lives and they should know there is help in getting there. This is also to give awareness to different business that can partner with the non-profit in order to show support to these individuals.

Materials Used
Each ad council poster is showcasing a smiley face created from materials that give examples of different career options. I used toothpaste, cardstock, flowers, a branch, lipstick and false eyelashes to create the smiles and then photographed each design.
Typography
The typography is designed to stand out in a way that draws your eye to the word "smile" and then to the word "career." Subsequent text describes who the main audience is, a second tagline, a website(call to action) and the ad council logo.
Creative Strategies
These posters use several creative strategies and design principles such as: Combination, Metaphor, Change of Context or Environment, and Physical Shape and Similarity.
A few design principles used are: Focal Point, Visual Hierarchy, Contrast, Lost and Found and Scale.
