Website re-design for a non-profit company

Founded in 1995, in the wake of the Northridge Earthquake, The Valley Economic Alliance a non-profit strategic private-public collaborative made up of businesses, government, education and community organizations whose mission is engage and unite Valley stakeholders to raise standards of living and economic vitality across the five-city region – Burbank, Calabasas, Glendale, Los Angeles and San Fernando consisting of more than 160,000 businesses and over 2 million residents covering more than 350 square miles.

Design challenge: How can non-profit the Valley Economic Alliance highlight the impact of their work in an engaging way that inspires action and deeper connection across 2-3 formats? (Digital, physical, social/print).
Goal: concentrate on the 3 directions: donation page (website), social media (Instagram), and newsletter (for holiday season and regular time).
The process involved: doing stakeholder interviews, primary and secondary research, netnography, sketching, prototyping, user testing and prototype iterations.
Tools used: Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Adobe Photoshop

I was a part of a "donor relations team" and we were trying to bring in the changes to the non-profit within this angle. We decided to concentrate on the 3 directions: donation page (website), social media (Instagram), and newsletter (for holiday season and regular time). Since the company initially didn't want to make drastic changes, my teammates and I decided to use the original brand identity materials, along with many original stock photos they (TVEA) has provided.

I created two versions of  donations page, which contained similar information but different layout and here is the version that stakeholders preferred the most out of two.
New "Donations" page on the website TVEA, version 1 ("revolution"):
---> [ more accent on the "donation" page, which is located on top instead of being on the bottom ]
"Donation" page on the website TVEA, version 2 ("Classico")
---> [  generally more traditional look of the website with the departments on top, and "Donation" option on the bottom ]
