It should come as no surprise (and yet it always does to newbies) that Seattle has an incredibly vivacious creative scene, and therefore a pretty vibrant fashion scene. It’s as diverse as the people themselves. From the apsiring thespians to the graphic designers (who have mastered the art of the vectorized and flat), to the fashionable. From the top of the top, those who frequent the flagship Nordstrom store on Fifth Avenue in Downtown Seattle to the hippest of the hipsters who spend their time trolling the thrift shops on Capitol hill to those who span the spectrum, Seattle is full of art (we mean fashion). And the city, sponsored by its native Nordstrom, is inviting the top designers from around the world to showcase their collections on the best runway there is: an actual runway at Boeing Field.
