I was invited to be apart a group show this year at the Mulvane Institute on the Washburn campus in Topeka, Kansas. The show is titled Contemporary Reflections: Brown vs. Board After Sixty Years. Each artist was to depict their interpretation of the landmark court case in their own medium.

My piece is titled Dual March and shows the students marching to school as the parents and community march in protest or support of the students. The strong lines and stark red white and grey tones were used to reinforce the tension between communities, not just in Topeka but around the country as well.
