A major transition toward a sustainable lifestyle is clear on its way. As society becomes more health conscious, society will strive to create a sustainable environment thus taking us back to history. 

The design for Kitchen of the Future strives to promote health and sustainable design. Studies show the growing population will have to make changes to keep a habitable planet. With these changes slowly starting to be made many will become more aware of other health factors. Thus incorporating things like solar power technology, at-home produce, and an abundance of natural resources. With health being an important factor, this design incorporates many windows and glass doors for natural lighting and airflow, as well as an outdoor area to encourage users to be outdoors much like seen in history.
