There are many doors in this story. I did not know in the process which of them would open to me first.

This horse came to my other painting in July 2019. And already in August he turned out to be quite real and let himself be touched.

In July 2022, our paths parted with him, and in August I started this painting.

⠀

Relations with him were exactly as in the photo. There was winter and snow around the horse, which hid everything under it, but inside the light burned and a completely different world opened up. I haven't always been able to get in. But if it worked, it became very warm. This stallion is autist.

He came to my paintings a lot and it seemed to me that through them we can open up to each other much more than in physical contact.

For me, this story is not only about the horse. It is about life, warmth and light, which can be felt even when there is snowy twilight around.

⠀

About the fact that after a cold winter, sooner or later, spring will come, and after a long night, the day will still come. And if you feel the light that you follow, then you will definitely be able to survive any darkness.
