This is what i call home.

Some people says that the home of a interior designer is a "joke", because we can experiment here, and we dont have budget to design it as our dreams can dream.    But I can say that im very happy with what we have done it so far.  We still need to sell that dining room (somebody? anybody?) in order to make my custom made big island / dining counter top table.  Also there are some accesories for the walls that may go instead of what you see, and of course some custom made furniture for the TV. (a bigger tv wont make me sad).

I designed the wood door, where i actually select, put and measure each piece (and the carpenter did the rest of the work of put it together and shiny it ;)

i have selected an eclectic mix of patterns and textures for this space, including cushions and carpet, because this is the place where we are 90% of our time when we are at home, and we play with the baby with all his colorful toys in this space.  so whenever you see the toys around, they are merged as parte of the design!! so mommy doesnt need to be worried about design with a baby at home! (cool! haha)

 

when all my dreams would happen? I really don't know, but meanwhile, i have created a cozy, warm and fresh space for my husband, my beautiful baby, doggy and me
