A logo redesigning and branding project for Sinar Prima Unggul, an Indonesian plastic thermoforming company headquartered in Jakarta. Some of their clients including A&W Indonesia, Carvil, Roppan, and J.CO Donuts (the fastest growing donut & coffee chain in Indonesia).
The problem was the company didn't have a clear direction of its image. It causes a division of look and feel throughout the company that unintentionally creates confusions.
And so I was thrilled to get the opportunity to help them refresh their much-needed logo update together with its brand identity, which ultimately will help them move further forward. I decided to create something more modern, contemporary, and simple that allows it to be flexibly implemented into any form of media.
They settled on my quite straightforward concept of Metamorphosis -- using a butterfly to symbolise transformation -- inspired by the company's ability to turn flat pieces of plastic into anything imaginable.
To further complement the concept, I used the first two letters of the company (S and P) as the base of creating The Butterfly. A play on the negative space; the left wing's is shaped as an S and the right as a P.
